The Southeast Missouri Gymnastics team, known as the Gymhawks, recently showcased their talent and determination at the BGSU Tri-Meet in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Despite fierce competition, the Gymhawks secured a commendable third place with an overall score of 192.375. This performance highlighted their continuous improvement and resilience, with several gymnasts setting new season highs.

Impressive All-Around Performances

Leading the charge for the Gymhawks was Taylor Ingle, who delivered a stellar performance across all rotations.

Ingle finished second in the All-Around with a score of 39.150, breaking her previous season high of 38.700. Her consistency and excellence were evident as she led the Redhawks in every rotation, tying for first on the vault, placing sixth on the bars, second on the beam, and third on the floor.

Central Michigan’s Luciana Alvarado-Reid won the All-Around with a score of 39.275.

Nyah Reader and Other Standout Performances

Nyah Reader also contributed significantly, placing fifth in the All-Around with a score of 36.000.

Madison Greene, Ailey Kuehn, and Joselene Hernandez all tied for fifth on the vault with impressive scores of 9.775. These performances underscore the depth of talent within the Gymhawks squad.

Bars

The Gymhawks started the meet on the uneven bars, scoring a total of 48.250.
