The No. 1 Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team is set to return to the floor on Saturday afternoon for one of the most thrilling matchups of the 2025 season. The second annual Sprout’s Farmer’s Market Collegiate Quad, hosted by ESPN Events, will feature the top-ranked Sooners competing against No. 2 LSU, No. 4 Utah, and No. 6 California. This highly anticipated event will be broadcast live on ABC from the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City.
With all four teams ranked within the top six nationally, fans can expect a showcase of elite gymnastics talent.
Upcoming Matchup: Sprout’s Farmer’s Market Collegiate Quad
Oklahoma’s women’s gymnastics team will face fierce competition in the second annual Sprout’s Farmer’s Market Collegiate Quad. The meet, which will be aired live on ABC at 3 p.m. CT, features the top four teams in collegiate gymnastics.
The Sooners, currently ranked No. 1, will compete against No. 2 LSU, No. 4 Utah, and No. 6 California. This event promises to be a highlight of the 2025 gymnastics season, showcasing the best teams and athletes in the nation.

Recent Performance: A Strong Start for the Sooners
The Oklahoma Sooners began their season with a victory at the American Gold Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Classic in Nashville on Jan. 4. They posted a score of 197.550, defeating Auburn (195.950), BYU (194.625), and Nebraska (194.475).
This impressive performance has set the tone for a promising season ahead.
Key Performances
Five Sooners competed in the all-around, with Faith Torrez leading the way with a score of 39.625. Freshman Lily Pederson followed closely with a 39.550.
Other notable performances included Audrey Davis (39.425), Addison Fatta (39.325), and Jordan Bowers (39.275).
The Sooners also secured event titles on all four apparatuses:
- Vault: Keira Wells (9.95)
- Uneven Bars: Audrey Davis (9.95)
- Floor: Audrey Davis and Faith Torrez (9.875)
- Beam: Lily Pederson (9.95)
Individual Honors: Keira Wells Recognized by SEC
Sophomore Keira Wells earned the program’s first SEC honor, being named the SEC Specialist of the Week. Her standout performance included a career-high 9.95 on her Yurchenko 1.5, tying for the highest score in the nation on that event.

Wells’ contribution was crucial in helping the team achieve a 49.450 on vault, the highest score in the country.
All-Around Excellence
When the Sooners took the floor on Jan. 4, five athletes competed in the all-around: Jordan Bowers, Audrey Davis, Addison Fatta, Lily Pederson, and Faith Torrez.
Torrez led the way with a 39.625, followed by Pederson with a 39.550.
Pederson’s score is the second-highest debut all-around score for a freshman in OU history, behind only Maggie Nichols and Olivia Trautman.
Freshman Impact
A trio of freshmen made their collegiate debuts in the season opener, combining for nine of the team’s 24 competitive routines.
Addison Fatta and Lily Pederson each competed in the all-around, while Elle Mueller competed on the uneven bars.
Mueller also performed an exhibition floor routine, and Kelsey Slade performed an exhibition routine on bars, showcasing the depth and potential of the freshman class.
National Rankings: The Sooners at the Top
After posting the highest score in the nation on opening weekend with a 197.550, Oklahoma remains the No. 1 team in the nation.
The Sooners are one of just two schools to post a 197-plus score in the first week of competition. They are also ranked No. 1 on vault (49.450) and bars (49.550), No. 2 on beam (49.400), and fifth on floor (49.150).
The team’s 49.550 on bars was the highest of any individual event score on the weekend.
Scouting the Competition: LSU, Utah, and California
The upcoming meet will feature some of the toughest competition the Sooners will face this season. Here’s a closer look at their opponents:
No. 2 LSU
LSU comes in at No. 2 this week after posting a 197.300 in a dual-meet victory over Iowa State.
Aleah Finnegan led the way with a 39.725 in the all-around, earning SEC Gymnast of the Week honors. Kailin Chio was named the SEC Freshman of the Week after a 39.575 performance in the all-around.
LSU leads the nation on floor with a 49.500 mark.
No. 4 Utah
Utah posted a 196.775 in its opening meet against Utah State to sit at No. 4 after the first week of competition.
The Red Rocks are the No. 1 ranked beam team after scoring a 49.475 on the apparatus. Makenna Smith led the way with a 39.500 in the all-around.
No. 6 California
California enters Saturday’s meet ranked No. 6 in the nation after a 196.275 in the season opener.
The Golden Bears picked up wins over UCLA and Oregon State, led by a 39.525 from Mya Lauzon in the all-around.
Looking Ahead: SEC Opener
Following the Sprout’s Farmer’s Market Collegiate Quad, the Sooners will head home to the Lloyd Noble Center for their SEC opener on Friday, Jan. 17.
Oklahoma will host Missouri at 7:15 p.m. CT, and the meet will be broadcast on SEC Network.
