The Oklahoma Sooners women’s gymnastics team is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the 2025 season. The second annual Sprout’s Farmer’s Market Collegiate Quad meet, hosted by ESPN Events, will showcase top-tier collegiate gymnastics talent in a thrilling competition.
This event features the Sooners taking on No. 2 LSU, No. 4 Utah, and No. 6 California. The meet will be held on the podium inside the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City, with commentary provided by John Roethlisberger and Aly Raisman, and sideline reporting by Taylor Davis.

Oklahoma’s women’s gymnastics team has had a stellar start to the season. They claimed their first victory at the American Gold Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Classic in Nashville on January 4, with a score of 197.550. This win brought their season record to 3-0, with victories over Auburn (195.950), BYU (194.625), and Nebraska (194.475).

- Faith Torrez: All-around title with a score of 39.625
- Lily Pederson: Second in the all-around with a score of 39.550
- Audrey Davis: Third in the all-around with a score of 39.425

The Sooners also dominated individual events, securing titles in all four categories:
- Vault: Keira Wells with a score of 9.95
- Uneven Bars: Audrey Davis with a score of 9.95
- Floor: Audrey Davis and Faith Torrez with matching scores of 9.875
- Beam: Lily Pederson with a score of 9.95
Keira Wells, a sophomore, was honored as the SEC Specialist of the Week for her outstanding performance on vault. She posted a career-high score of 9.95, tying for the highest score in the nation on that event.
All-Around Excellence
Oklahoma’s depth and talent were on full display during their season opener, with five athletes competing in the all-around:

Faith Torrez led the team with a score of 39.625, followed closely by Lily Pederson with 39.550. Notably, Pederson’s debut all-around score is the second-highest for a freshman in OU history, behind only Maggie Nichols and Olivia Trautman.
National Rankings and Team Performance
After their impressive opening weekend, the Sooners maintained their No. 1 ranking nationally, posting the highest score in the nation with 197.550. They are also ranked No. 1 in vault (49.450) and uneven bars (49.550), No. 2 in beam (49.400), and fifth in floor (49.150).
Their 49.550 on bars was the highest score of any individual event over the weekend.
Freshman Impact
The contributions of Oklahoma’s freshmen have been significant. Three freshmen made their collegiate debuts, contributing to nine of the team’s 24 competitive routines:
- Addison Fatta: All-around
- Lily Pederson: All-around
- Elle Mueller: Uneven bars
Additionally, Elle Mueller and Kelsey Slade performed exhibition routines, showcasing the depth and potential of the freshman class.
Scouting the Opposition
The competition at the Sprout’s Farmer’s Market Collegiate Quad meet will be intense, with each team bringing its own strengths:
- No. 2 LSU: The Tigers posted a 197.300 in their season opener, led by Aleah Finnegan with a 39.725 in the all-around. They lead the nation on floor with a 49.500.
- No. 4 Utah: Utah scored 196.775 in their opening meet and is ranked No. 1 on beam with a 49.475, led by Makenna Smith with a 39.500 in the all-around.
- No. 6 California: California earned a 196.275 in their season opener, with Mya Lauzon leading the team with a 39.525 in the all-around.
